Upon arrival, our host Kathleen welcomed us with genuine warmth, setting a relaxed tone for our stay. The lodge itself is not overly lavish, but it offers comfortable accommodations, including spacious en-suite rooms that are clean and well-maintained. One standout aspect was the breakfast. Kathleen provided a diverse range of options, accommodating our dietary preferences without making a fuss, including fresh-squeezed orange juice, which was a delightful treat. With amenities like free Wi-Fi and parking space available, it certainly caters to modern travelers’ needs. Though located just outside Skibbereen, the peaceful environment is ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the area. The garden adds a charming touch.
